I sell handmade products on Amazon, Etsy and through my own website.
I started selling online in a bid to escape the corporate world, and in 2019 I was able to quit my job and focus on my business full time. I now help others do the same!
On this site, I share the things I’ve learnt through growing my own business and helping others to start selling online.

My background
I am a creative person at heart but in my old job as a management consultant in London I never really got the chance to explore my creativity. I think loads of people probably feel like this in their corporate jobs. I dreamt of starting my own business and showing it to the man!
But working full time obviously took up a lot of my time, and so in 2018 I started looking for a way to make money online in the evenings while still doing my day job. . I think the first thing I did was google something like ‘how to make money online’ or ‘how to start a side business’…
I can’t actually remember what I searched for, but after lots of research, I came across selling on Amazon, and it’s one of the best/luckiest things I have ever discovered.
For the next few months, I spent my evenings and weekends learning everything I possibly could about selling on Amazon.
There were no straightforward guides to follow at that point so I spent a lot of time trawling through information on the internet, signing up to various courses and speaking to manufacturers.
As soon as I got my first sale on Amazon I was hooked. I’ve been able to grow my business incredibly quickly to be selling over £30k a month, something that just wouldn’t be possible if I was starting a brand off Amazon. Since starting my Amazon business I have been able to quit my corporate job and even move to a new country for the winter.
I started where everyone else does, with a little bit of money (about £2k), but no experience and no sales. It took me just over a year to get to £10,000 per month in sales, and now I’m able to continue growing the business while only spending a few hours on it a week. Now I’m not one of these people who will tell you that an Amazon business is the ultimate passive income stream, because it’s not. It can require a lot of work particularly when launching new products or brands, which is exactly what you’ll be doing in the beginning.
Amazon has been a great creative outlet for me, as I really like to concentrate on high quality handmade products that I have designed myself. I love going to trade shows to find new product ideas. Some of my favourites are in exotic locations like India, Vietnam, Frankfurt and even Birmingham! Some of my products are selling in the Handmade Category, and I think there is a huge amount of potential for new sellers there (no monthly fees!).
So if you are looking to build a business selling your products on Amazon and Amazon Handmade, then I’m pretty sure you are in the right place.
